Donating unwanted items is beneficial because it allows you to help people in need by giving your unused possessions a second life, reducing waste in landfills, supporting local charities, and providing a positive impact on the environment while also decluttering your own space and potentially creating a sense of personal fulfillment by giving back to the community.
I suggest that you donate somewhere that makes YOU feel good about your donation. Another consideration is finding a place that is also convenient to you. It is great to declutter your home with the intention of donating, yet keep in mind you want to simplify your life. The goal of decluttering is to take your items out of your home as soon as possible
When you click on "Find Out More" below, you will be directed to the Indianapolis Recycling Guide. I have suggestions below for some ideas on where to donate. Another idea is to consider asking those at your school, work, recreational sports, gym, book club, neighborhood group, or anywhere else you gather, where they donate and why. Choose your ideal donation location and donate at your earliest convenience. This will simplify your home while helping others!
